A modern, mobile catalog your volunteers can actually learn.
built for the next volunteer
Stop being the one person who might lose the town's history. A single donation becomes one described item that holds the photo, the scanned deed, and a volunteer's recollection together. It is simple enough that a new volunteer can learn it in an afternoon and pick up right where the last one left off.
One Accession
One donation, one item

What it doesn't do (on purpose)
We are the approachable storytelling catalog, not the compliance registrar.
- No accession-number workflow
- No loan check-in and check-out
- No deaccession or deed-of-gift module
- No EAD finding-aid export
- No appraisal or valuation
- No data export yet
If you need full registrar compliance, PastPerfect, CatalogIt, and Omeka or ArchivesSpace do that well. If you need volunteers to actually use it, start here.

Questions
Common questions
Is it affordable for a small society?
It starts free, so you can catalog your first items at no cost. The paid plans are modest and grow with your collection, so you only pay for the space you actually use.
Do volunteers need training?
A little, but it is simple. Most volunteers can learn to add an item, a photo, and a description in an afternoon, and the next volunteer can pick up where the last one left off.
Can we keep sensitive items private while sharing others?
Yes. Every item can be draft, private, or public on its own, so a donor's sensitive material stays hidden while the items you want to showcase go on a public page.
How is this different from PastPerfect?
PastPerfect is a full registrar system with accession numbers, loans, and deaccession workflows. We are the approachable storytelling catalog: quick for volunteers, strong on photos, documents, and oral histories, and honest about the compliance features we do not include.
Can we get our data out?
You can import and capture freely today. A data export is on our roadmap, and you can tell us it matters so we prioritize it.
